Job Responsibilities

WebiMax is currently looking for a personable and driven individual to fill our Sales Representative position.

The Sales Representative supports our Business Development Team. They are responsible for contacting potential clients and generating new leads for services. The Outbound Sales Representative will reach potential clients via phone to learn about their current online marketing strategy and explain how WebiMax can partner with them to reach their goals.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Place calls to solicit customers (cold calling)
  • Introduce new services to potential customers and initiate the sale of the service
  • Obtain pertinent information from potential clients in order to qualify their need for service(s)
  • Schedule appointment for potential client to meet with Online Marketing Specialist
  • Act as the key communication liaison between potential client and the WebiMax Business Development Team
  • Maintain a database of potential clients

Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualities:

  • Previous experience with cold calling and effective customer prospecting is an advantage
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be motivated to achieve sales quotas
  • Ability to deliver high standards of customer service
  • Professional communication both verbal and written
  • Personable and positive attitude
  • Diligent follow-up skills
  • Experience with customer relationship management software and proficiency with basic computer applications

Inbound Marketer

Inbound Marketer

The Inbound Marketer will assist, implement, and further enhance client marketing campaigns.

Tasks will include:

  • Researching client products and services in order to create an engaging, professional and relevant content piece.
  • Copyedit content from other writers ensuring it is written in a clear and concise prose, free of grammatical errors, contains factual accuracy, and is appealing and relevant to the client’s targeted demographic.
  • Promote the content via social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and other social media networks.
  • Engage on blog sites and social platforms to increase brand awareness and diversify the client’s link profile ultimately leading to increased traffic and conversions.
  • Identify and remove any potentially harmful backlinks that could negatively affect a client’s ranking.
  • Decipher a client or competitor’s link profile using either Majestic SEO, OSE or backlink analysis tools to devise a link building strategy.
  • Use more advanced search queries in search engines to discover marketing partners for clients.
  • Create pivot tables in Excel to create advanced reporting for clients.
  • Scrape a website or search engines results page using import XML function from Google docs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and PHP, MySQL
  • Familiarity with other major front-end languages (ASP, Java, etc).
  • Familiarity with backend server setup and databases (SQL, IIS, Apache)
  • Strong SEO and UI/UX experience
  • Understanding of latest algorithm updates and their impact on websites
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with industry standard software/access points (Adobe CS3+, RDP, SSH, FTP Client)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Able to work well with others and also independently as projects require
  • Capable of identifying roadblocks or potential issues when scoping out a custom development project
  • Comfortable picking up a project mid-development and pushing it to completion
  • Complete tasks within the required timeframe
