MOUNT LAUREL, NJ -- (May 10, 2012) – Kenneth Wisnefski, founder and CEO of WebiMax, a leading search engine optimization firm, announced today that the company received multiple awards from the Interactive Media Council, Inc. for 2012. WebiMax received the Outstanding Achievement Award and Best in Class award for the second consecutive year.
The Interactive Media Awards™ recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements. WebiMax was evaluated on design, content, feature functionability, usability, standards and compliance, and cross-browser compatibility.
“We are honored to receive both of these prestigious awards form the IMC,” states Wisnefski. “As a leading web design and development firm these awards and recognitions show we practice what we preach and understand the standards that are required to create highly dynamic and effective websites.”
Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the annual competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet. IMC serves as the primary sponsor and governing body of the Interactive Media Awards, establishes the judging system and provides the judges for the competition.
“We are thrilled to be honored by Interactive Media Awards for the WebiMax.com website for the 2nd year in a row,” states Sean O’Donnell, Vice President of Technology. “With so many of our peers focused on continuously enhancing their websites the stakes are always rising, which makes this truly is an outstanding achievement to be recognized as a leader in our industry.”
WebiMax has heavily reinvested into their design division as the company has noticed a spike in demand for web design services over the past year. O’Donnell believes this is due to more companies focusing on the quality of their websites in a result of increasing competition and globalization.
“I believe that WebiMax has achieved this caliber of website by considering all impacts in our design & developments,” states O’Donnell. “Beyond the aesthetics, we are focused on ease of use and navigation, deep rich information, social engagement and interactivity, conversion and of course being search engine friendly. We apply the same considerations when we are designing or optimizing websites for our clients,” concludes O’Donnell.
